EQ 10 - Equalizer App Reviews

Has been reported to App Store for false advertising. I dont care about 99 cents but I so care about getting what I pay for. App looks and works nice to play music but it doesnt do anything more then the factory music app. False advertising and will not play songs. Also the dl feature is limited to few terrible sites and once downloaded they dont play.

This app consistently fails to sync to all my music in iTunes. Great sound, but whats the point when it cant load my favorites?

As someone who does audio production I found this to be a great EQ. The price is perfect and you get more than you pay for. The 10 band EQ is wonderfully powerful and effective. The player is great and Ive replaced the default Music player on my iPod with the EQ 10 player. For those who dont know much about EQ, there is a simple 3 band EQ that should help. I havent tried some of the other features. I just wanted a good EQ and thats what this is. You really have the choice of spending $100+ dollars on good headphones (not that Im against this!) or pay 99 cents and use $10 ear buds and this EQ will get you that sound!

I have had this app for about 2 years now. It does crash, sometimes jams, but they have constant updates keeping the app running smoothly! There are amazing features, which include transferring playlists ect. If you are looking for a Equalizer app, I have tried many, and this is by far the best.. Keep up the great work with the updates!!!

This app is nicely done, but still missing alot. It doesnt show the cover, missing radio stations, and when i close this app i want to start where i left. Maybe add some more options to it and it will be one cool app. Over all its one nice app.

Great EQ lots of versatility for fine tuning your music.

This music app is great. I didnt try a lot of music apps yet but I don think I will. You have to play with the eq settings a few minutes till you find the sound you want but after that its just pure awesomeness. Much better than the stock app.

This is such a SWEET little iPad app! Making my travel headphones sing more like my $$ big home cans. A well thought out 10 band equalizer, with great controls and graphics. And for 99 cents… a very serious bargain to replace the dull and primitive iPad EQ. EQ 10 gets a 10, well done David!

Wow, what great sound you can achieve by just moving the points on the equalizer to your desired listening. Ive tried out some of the other equalizer apps and kept coming back to this one. Its simple and effective. I tweet it a bit for each song sometimes just to get that perfect sound. Thx Mr Ross for this one . Your the best !

Its a shame that people arent that worried about how their music sounds any more. EQ 10 solves that problem by putting the control back in your hands and away from the silly presets you see everywhere. Minimal, effective and powerful, this app plays songs and playlists, and plays internet radio. Choose from 10 band EQ, 3 band EQ, low or high pass options. There are other audio effects you can employ if desired. While music is playing, click the FX button to enter the audio settings. EQu has a sonic visualizer, but its just a bit too much overkill, and you have to buy an upgrade to do so. Save presets so you can adjust the EQ curve for the car, the office or at home, or for each room of your home. Somewhat non-intuitive is how you must click the FX button to access the audio controls. Also, the 10-band EQ is always displayed in the main panel even if it is not active - so if you use the 3-band EQ or have EQ completely disabled, the 10-band EQ is still displayed, and not greyed out as you might expect. However, these are minor quibbles given the success of the app in general.

Out of all the EQ apps Ive used (about 8 in total), this is by far the best one! The "parametric EQ" in combination with the great addition of the pre-amp change the way you listen to your music vastly! Also, I noticed the stereo width, which, I hadnt seen in any other apps. This option is fantastic! I love it! In continuation, I found that sometimes when restarting a song, the dominant side (left or right earpiece) swaps. I would really like an option to be able to swap the sides :) like left to right or vice versa. Great design, and does not use too much battery on my iPhone 5S. The customization could be more in depth, but it really doesnt matter that much XD Fantastic app! Worth more than 1$ in my opinion :D

This app is so good until 8.1.1 update. Keeps crashing. Pls release a fix...

Awesome app; sound in my car and Bose portable is perfect, all my friends love it. Be nice to have a song fader ( fade from one song into the next).

I like this app and have used it for years. The equalizer works very well and the ability to use AirPlay made it very handy. But - with this last release they hid the AirPlay button under settings and it is a real pain to get to and switch back and forth between speakers. It also stops the song when ever you do switch. To top it off the app seems to have a hard time keeping a connection to AirPlay devices now - it used to be much more solid.

Great app but can not playback apples music purchase on iPhone 5 .

Love this app! It’s super simple, but that’s what makes it great. Music sounds so good now!
